I am running an adaptronic in mine and we just hacked the standard loom. There is really very little that has to interface with the standard loom to be honest. It was pretty easy to hook up, two afternoon and we had it running.
Cheers

hey guys, i just bought an adaptronic and about to begin wiring, will it make life easier if i go to wreckers and raid a ae71 for an 4ac ancilliaries loom, and wire the adaptronic completly seperate from that loom rather than hack away at my own loom (4age bigport, fwd loom modified to rwd)
any advice would be sweet as
Cheers in advance

yeah i wanted to do that, but still gonna have to run the injectors serperately as it is sequentil fire, the point of me asking this question is my loom is really messy and i wanted to neatin the bay up, i wanted no wires running accross the top of the cam covers near the cam gears, but i could always re route them around the back on the engine i geuss

another question for those with an adaptronic and have done the installation by them selves, I'm stuck with the igniter, absolutely no idea on how to wire it, anybody care to enlighten, also for those of you who have ST 20v, i need to know which wires are which on the TPS, ie. power, earth, fully closed and signal wire, can these 2 wires be spliced together, on my standard bigport, they were spliced together and one wire running to ecu. can this be done aswell with an aftermarket ecu
Cheers again guys

TPS you can work out with a multimeter. 4 wires:
- 5V
- GND
- TPS signal
- IDL signal
And to work out what's what:
5V and GND have a constant resistance between them even as you move the throttle.
IDL is shorted to GND when the throttle is fully closed. Goes to open circuit as soon as the throttle opens
TPS signal to GND varies as the throttle opens (can't remember if it goes up or down)
And GND will probably be brown.
5V could well be yellow.
Don't join the IDL and TPS wires.

thanks alot hen, will give it a go with a multimeter
