Okay, so I was wondering if it is possible to do an engine conversion and still be able to drive it with p plates. For instance, dropping a 4age into a ke70. Is that legal to drive with a provisional/ learners licence? I understand it would need to be mod plated first, but would it be impossible to get this done and still be allowed to drive with the aforementioned licences? Any help would be appreciated.
don't put a combustion engine in. youre better off swapping in one of those rocket engines NASA use for the space shuttle and yes you will be able to legally drive the ke70 with the space shuttle engine

No, because you arent allowed to drive anything with modifications that requires mod plating or engineering. However, heaps of people still drive around in 4age powered ae86's that don't have mod plates.
