Yo
Few weeks ago my pop found me a daily across the road from me and called me up and asked if i wanted it. I said i'd check it out so went around there and opened an old shed in this old ladys house and then this chestnut AE71 appeared. It was covered in about 2 inches of dust, and wasn't rusty so i tried to start it and it started first turn, even after not being started in the last couple of years. I decided it would make a alright daily and would be fun in the wet so i bought it for $500 bucks.
Unfortunately it was auto so i got started straight away after sourcing all the parts to convert it.
Almost finished the conversion just need to mount pedal box, and clutch master and lines and we should be rolling.
Its got a ADM T50, Xtreme HD clutch, Tacho Dash, uncracked Dash, Air Con yeeeew ha ha.
Also chopped the springs and got a set of centrelines 13x7 -37 and put them on the front.
Its not too bad, just need to finish it off and lock the diff and should be pretty fun hoooopefully.
Heres some pics...
Planning on driving it for a bit, get some rims for the rear, maybe head to the track during the wet, if i can get a few mates, and just thrash around.
