I am using redtop bigport leads on my smallport engine. You need to swap the dizzy cap and change the coil.
You can't buy smallport TRD leads anymore as they are discontinued from awhile back. Conversion works really well too.

problem solved, small port coil lying around, all is good, mods can delete
