KE70 Rollcage

Just want to know if anyone is using a ae86 rollcage in their KE70.
Is there any modification and how well does it fit.

I think it will fit, but the bars across the top will sit lower because the ae86 has a lower roofline...anyone confirm?

You need to modify the main hoop so it sits higher... otherwise it fits perfect

i have a safety 21 half cage in my ae71

ae86 and e7 way different rear interior layout. Rear strut towers are different and thats just the start.

... so from what the other guys said ae86 half cage should be K if slightly modded into a ke70/ae71, full cage nope??? yeah guys???

Does anyone have pics of how/what they modified the 86 cage to fit it in the E7 PLEASE?

Yes the ke70 roof is about two inches or so higher so it needs to be modified to be worthy of engineering.
Besides, It would be pointless to not sort out this problem as it would sit lower than your head if not modified

I'm sorta tall tho so could be me...

Also I'm pretty sure a full cage fits in a ke70, ask beally (driftke70) pretty sure he has a full safety 21 cage
