Have a Microtech LT-8s running my 4AGZE, for most of the rev range it runs ok, but its like there is a 'hole' at exactly 2000rpm where I have NO power.

Under 2000rpm the engine seems ok, above 2000rpm power is good also. Just as the needle passes 2000 it sort of 'blips' where the hole is, but if I ease of revs and land right on 2000rpm power disappears and I have even nearly stalled it.

Anyone have an idea on what I should be looking at? I will be getting the engine dyno tuned in the not too distant future, but wanted to see if I can sort this in the meantime.

    Cheers

This will be easy to spot if you are running a single map. If you are on 3D maps this takes more time to sort out.

If you have a laptop this is easier, you can scroll through the maps and look for any funny bumps in the maps at 2000rpm.

With a hand controler this is difficult and time consuming.

Your local MicroTech/dyno tuner will sort it out in no time. Does not sound like a hard job.
