Would have been better if you could actually see the cars or something..
I can settle this one. I was fanging through the hills a few weeks ago, coming home from work. I was passing people left right and centre giving myself props for maintaining such good speed. Then, out of nowhere a blue STI overtook me around the outside, tyres wailing, on a fairly tight corner, where I was at the limit. I was owned.

What can you do? He had 4x4, so no understeer, no oversteer (at least the limits of these are higher). Add to that 200+kw, and he may, or may not, have been on semi-slicks.
Thankfully, most of the performance car drivers out there can be owned due to their naff driving skills. Remember the dude in the 360 modena that got owned, PERMANENTLY, trying to catch a gt falcon on the spur??
Exhibit A in the case of "shit skills vs too much money" your honour.
Or you can watch Keiichi Tsuchiya take out the STI in his 86 at the monster of touge!
sweeet....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (af300e @ Apr 24 2008, 11:36 AM) </div>eeer I don't agree here, all AWD platforms naturally have initual understeer and then exit oversteer. A stock WRX is known have have shocking understeer, the STI with its front LSD is heaps better but its not perfect. Well anyway this is a media section so let me post a vid for you, the answer is in there somewhere (the stock sti):
30kw club
Beat you to it Sam.. :teehee: see above.. I agree with your comments being an Evo owner, although I reckon newer Evo's have sorted out some of the problem with ACD and S-AYC technology.
