    not sure if ive posted this in the right section so feel free to move it to the right one :whistling:

    ive had my eye on these for a while but I'm the sort of dude that needs second and third opinions before i buy stuff for my car, i was just wondering what the 86dc community thought of these wheels

    they are crap and over priced

    get something at least 7 inch wide

    they don't look too bad but the size and offset is woeful. there is alot better wheels out there for the same money
    stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?

    The style looks good. But you can find cheaper wheels on Yahoo of that size (6").

    They are a "correct" size and offset for AE86 as a replacement wheel, and will fit very well. But if you are into drift/grip and want the biggest wheels/tyres to fit, they are not the best.

    14 x 6" = replacement dressup wheels from the 80s. Cheap.
    14 x 6.5" = better wheels, can be used for motorsport with a lightweight car and good tyres.
    14 x 7" = for motorsport. 7" is the max size for impproved production racing. Cost more.

    AU$340 each? Ouch! Plus shipping. Hayashi streets in 15x8 are not much dearer and brand new! Might as well get what you really want if you are going to the trouble of importing.

    Don't worry about the opinions of others, just do your research so that you get the correct size and don't pay too much. And buy rims YOU like the look of.

    We had a set of these in 14x7 +2. bridgestone potenza TR-1 they were called from memory.
    JamesDM on this site now has them, they look good on certain cars and colours

    theyd look pretty sweet if they didnt have all the bolts around the rim
