    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (awang @ Apr 30 2008, 08:23 PM) </div>Bit of a combo really...

    Wet and dry 800, 1200, 1500, 2000 grit sandpaper
    Scraper
Bosch drill with a wire brush
Dremel Tool with small wire brush
    Armorall Mag Cleaner
    Mother's Mag and aluminium polish
    Arm power (lots of)
    Time

The corrosion came off with Mothers polish, wet and dry for the harder bits used gradually then more polish, the back of the center needed a touch with the wire brushes to get off the hard baked corrosion, brake dust and unidentifiable crap revealing the markings. The paint on the centres is/was quite bad, still working on getting them ready for new paint.

I really like the wheels, I'm in the process of restoring them to their former glory. Will post pics when done, they will look the goods on my 86. New Equip centre caps on their way too.

Dan at OCS is a good operator, would recommend to all forum members. Always responded to calls and PM's. Thanks again Dan.

Paul, I'm still annoyed that I couldnt get a decent shine on them without getting the wet dry out and possibly making them look like total ass.
send me some pics once the centres are re-painted
Just about to pm you anyway
