During my conversion i 'thought' the lifter i was using was knackered. so i ran down to sprints and got another brand new one.
i then realised that it was the wiring not the pump. So i wasted $80.
Its still in the box with a fresh filter and gaskets.

If your doing a conversion say from a carby engine to EFI. 1 of the fuel set ups you can use which is fairly common is using a "LIFT PUMP" to a surge tank and then a bigger and better pump from the surge to your engine.
