Can I grind a small square bit off the side,..

I will try to find a pic, but anyone with these may know what I am on about...

    Regards

I got told not to grind that little pryamid thingo off too much as there is a brake fluid line underneath. I dare not risk it!

Let us know how it goes.

Yes, you can grind a bit off here and there.

But with the bump that is near the Mazda word, don't grind it all off. There is a oil gallery in there and the wall gets too thin if you grind it flat, I am told.

    Thanks fellas...

The bump I am talking about is near the Mazda word...BUGGER

I also will not risk it,

looks like I will be running spacers and pumping the blazes out of my already flared guards...lol

Star Sharks sit out further than I at first thought..........

Sorry Parrot, spent an hour searching and can't find it...care to add links please??
First pic shows the bit I am talking about, second pic shows a later caliper which does not have that bit...

Anyone care to gaurantee me 100%b that the bump does not contain fluid lines???

I am running above brakes and are using spacers, also heard there are oil lines in the bump and did not want to risk it.

I can garauntee 100% that there IS a brake fluid passage under that bump. If you machine it flat then you open the passage and may as well throw out your caliper.

However you can take some of it off. Leave about 2mm proud and you won't have a problem.

Sorry Browneye. Your right ,I tried myself and couldn't find it either :whistling: Bit hard when the search function doesn't accept words of 3 letters.

    But then finally found

I seem to recall having seen a more detailed thread. but can't find it now, or may never have seen one.

Perhaps ask your question on Toymods.
