seeing as i am ill, and so a little bored, and my bike is next to me, i thought i would run a bike check. i know there are a few bmxers here, and riders of other wheeled vessels so i thought it might be appreciated.

was gonna put it in the non toyota section, but its members cars... i was thinking it was members rides.. so its here.

frame -07 superstar new deal. fresh silver metalic poweder coat.
fork - primo kamikaze. later batch with some revisions. (primo/cassons held good on the life time warranty, cracked the headset compression bolt fitting).
headset - campagnolo record carbon with white over spray. (thanks to jinja ninja for that one, he had it "lying around" so free.. win)
stem - primo pro cnc with gyro tabs cut off and filled back, and powdercoated black.
bars - simple, were on sale, nice rise, not quite enough sweep and way too narrow. think i wanna get the new panteras
grips - ortix gum, short lever side
    lever - odyssey chrome dog
    cable - white linear slic
    caliper - diatech hombre
post - fly, paid almost retail for this... painful.
    seat - senior
    pedals - trail mix
crank - theyre a sample for colony(prototype) which didnt make production. 2 peice with hollow 7/8th bb spindle.
sprocket - simple. on sale from distro.
    chain - normal kool chain
rear hub - tuff neck, 9t hollow spindle, khe nuts
    spokes - hi-tech
    nipples - DT brass
rim - alex.. was new at the time, wanted a SUPRA ?? the one thats like an araya super 7x, but wholesaler doesnt do them any more and said try this instead FAIL it is shitty as.. i have another whole rear wheel which i just need to re finish as it has a wack painted red hub..
rear tire - path P Lyte
    Front - Aitken P lyte
front rim - a single wall sunn, forget the model
front hub is - OG suzue with vandero race axle (hollow, needs slight mod to fit) vandero lock nuts and 17mm alloy wheel nuts.
    tubes intense, presta valve.

it is a total taiwanese dream, which is so not like any other bike i have had before. i grew up riding all S&Ms and standards, had a barcode from the first batch, but this is by far the best bike i have ever ridden. the rest of the new school shit kinda just sprung up from there, some parts are chosen cos i could get them cheap ect.

the geo' though, is incredible. i have put 2 of my mates on these and and they love them too.

its like a compact geometry, 75 ht, and 13.3 rear with a only a 70 seat tube, which shortens it up even more (21" tt)

this would all make for a super squirrelly ride, but the BB is ultra low at 11.4.. so its stable, just really responsive.
