AW11 Seats... a few questions!

Hey all!

Just wanted to get the experience from people who have actually done this transplant! Yes, AW11 seats into an AE86. I have a pair of AW11 seats sitting here with me, and I notice that they don't seem to be a direct bolt in. Now is there a way that you can align say three of them, and only have to redrill a 4th, or what? Do you need to stretch the rails or something and kind of persuade it to fit? Maybe they are a direct bolt in, but there's a trick to it? I know they're pretty close, but yeah, doesn't seem to exactly line up.

I don't know, but I do want to hear how people did it. If someone would come over to my place (Capalaba, Brisbane) that'd be even better, lol, but yeah, if someone knows what the go is, I'd very much appreciate hearing something from them.

im interested in this..... but in the reverse way, wanting to put some seats from my trueno into my aw11.

i searched but cant seem to find anything about this, does anybody know ??

i would check myself, but i only have one carspace at my building, so i store the trueno at a friends house...

i remember hearing that SOMEONE had aw11 mr2 seats in there ae86.... i wonder who it was ??

who has more information ?? as for me, i want to put recaro from trueno into aw11.

they were sw20 seats into an 86.

Just get a file or a die grinder and slot the holes to line up, thats what I did and it worked fine.
