looks like pins 1 and 2 of the AFM is where its at
Hey all you tech heads out there I need some help getting my race car that I am building across the line, see here,
what I basically need is to wire up the fuel pump and I am unsure where to power it from, I think there is a link to the computer but am having trouble finding what wires and how, and is there any wires that I need to pull from the air flow meter to trigger the pump, I can power it up full time on the ignition switch but that is not desirable, especially if you are involved in an accident and the fuel pumps are flat out, thanks in advance, cheers Greg

Circuit Opening Relay. Steal one from anther Toyota car. It is slightly larger than the other relays, and has "circuit opening relay" written on it I think.
Jonny's right
I can take a picture of one of these circuit opening relays if it helps.

nice one, me and my dad have built a westfield clubman, anyway, ahve you thought of running it off oil pressure? so if your at a track day or whatever and you lose oil pressure it will cut out your fuel pump too? therefore minimising engine damage?? jsut maybe a though rather than running it via the AF meter, then if you get rid of that after engineering and run an aftermarket computer with a map sensor you won't have to re do it
Thanks for all the help guys, the brains trust is the best, We went with the oil pressure link and she fired to life last night :2thumbs:
