ke70 diffs

i recently purchased a 2nd hand diff for $220 from a wrecker what a gip ay.. anyway when i got in home looking at it the cover plate thing- the thing eith the fill plug in it looks to be a different shape to mine it has a bigger buldge for the crown gear?? .., i have a ke70 xx model.. the diff i bought says on it in texta ke70 sedan 4.11
is that the same ratio?? all the mounts are the same i think... both are borg warners..???

How many Bolts holding in the centre?
8 - S series
10 - T series

I don't know how to identify a KE70 diff, but I remember giving my stock KE70 diff away for free, I couldnt sell it on here for $10!

its a auto diff if its 4.11. If mounts are the same it should be fine

Borgy= backing plate

they are both borg warners.. i think it may have been out of an auto..
so that 4.11 is the ratio? its different to my 5sp diff ratio? mean I'm gonna go slower of faster?

There were bigger Borg Warner diffs, in overseas cars, like TE71s and the like. It might take a commodoore lsd centre with a little axle work.

i don't wantm any commodor shit in my car... I'm sure there are extensive write ups. i had a main question- will it work.. cause its goin in tomoro.. and ill be pissed off it hits the pan hard rod or some shit.. but anyway.. so thats my weekend.. new diff in.. test out.. mayeb put on the quads n the chrome bars..

yes it will work. the 4.11 ratio will make you accelerate quicker but your speedo will now be out
