Last night I had a beer plus a wine also, which means I get to ask the questions.

Does anyone have a good guide for sidefeed injectors? Colours and flow rates? This is for 20valve, but the same style injectors are on 3S-GTE (in MR2 and others), and I think 1JZ and a few others.

No, this list is for side feed ones. 3S-GE and 7M-GTE are top feed and don't fit a 20valve. There are some late model 13B injectors that are side feed. I don't know if any non-Toyota sidefeed injectors fit Toyota sidefeed engines, but if they are Denso (and I think 13B are) then they should fit.

Today I found that 3S-GE, 1JZ-GE etc are all top feed. Only the specific list I put up have sidefeed.

I had found the Autospeed article, thanks. It does not mention sidefeed injectors specificaly and their list is lacking in some info, and is not consistant with other lists I had found. (Don't trust it). But a good place to start.

    My thoughts are:
for a N/A 20valve, the stock injectors should be good enough except for the most wild engines. TRD did list some 340cc injectors for the 20valve in their Bible, the same engine had 304 and 320 canshafts I think. I doubt these injectors are available anymore (not in a TRD package at least). I suspect these are just 1JZ-GTE injectors anyway.

Anyone else want to guess what the max power of the stock 20 valve injectors is?

    Using this method of calculating

    Going off

295cc @ 85% duty cycle they would peak at 200.6HP
340cc @ 85% duty cycle they would peak at 231.2HP
380cc @ 85% duty cycle they would peak at 258.4HP
Why hesitate when you can accelerate???

My standard 16v top feed injectors run at a max of 65% at full noise.

Engine is somewhere in the region of 145RWHP at the moment, which should be about 170ish at the crank.

I think the 20v ones are bigger than the 16v ones?
