WRX turbos have been done before (td-04), the common concensus is that the s15 T28 twin ball bearing unit is the best match. After that you start losing low end boost response. As said above it all depends on what you want out of it.

T25G of an S13 SR20DET, not as good as what Sam suggested (S15 BB T28)

    much cheaper though

I have a td-05 off an evo if I ever get boost happy. A bit on the large side though but it suits my idea ( I think)

I have a GTR turbo for sale, no lag, powerful and cheap

I guess if lag ISNT'T an issue for you, and you want to hunt "fast" cars, a T517/518/618Z is a good option

But so are all of the GT2510/GT2530/GT28R/GT28RS combos

    So many choices

We are building the engine to hopefully make around 160kw, I know some of you may think that's heeps, I'm going for a haltech e8 and all the internals will be rebuilt with much stronger gear.

I had already heard that s15 turbos are good, but they still are a factory turbo..

Iv built my car for the track-sliding, don't realy mind about to much lag, just wanted decent power

160 at the engine or wheels? because I don't think theres a turbo on this page that couldnt do that at the engine. So what internals are on the cards? 4agze pistons?

    rods wont matter
