stock 7afe's from memory make around 65-68 kw/atw
so......about the same as a 4age with minor mods (extractors/exhaust, pod etc.)
though if you do go ahead with 7afe and do minor mods,
make sure you put bigger injectors in because they run at about 90-95% duty cycle, so a better breathing motor may lean out,
yea the second pic is a 12a which belongs to myself. But yea 7age i image would like a 4age with and extra 200cc of stroke, which i believe will be a huge power increase. only thing is it wont be as rev happy due to the longer stroke.
Anyways i started this thread so i could get some info on the parts required for the conversion

You sound like you've had a bit to do with the ole 7a bottom ends - what do you think it would need to live a happy life at 7500 rpm or so? I'm thinking a pretty standard bigport head, plus carbs and the 1.8 bottom end to turn it into a bit torquier motor, while still having the rev range to be good on the track.
Would treating the standard rods/crank, balancing and (I'm guessing here) a set of custom pistons to maintain the compression ratio get it there? Or could the block be decked to up the compression, retaining a set of balanced standard pistons?
I haven't even got my 4age in and I'm wanting to go 7a... ha ha ha

Anyways i believe that you need to buy aftermarket conrods for 7age to be on the safe side. and especially if you are building a turbo beast. But pistons should be fine unless you want a high comp n/a beast.

Any news for the cambelt. something along the lines of Porsche 911.
Also the ECU will screw you over for having a 1.8 so its prob weber carbs.

Number one, don't start bringin racial shit to these forums, its likely you will be banned if you continue it.
I can't see a 911 porsche belt fitting, they are a boxer motor after all. You would be better off havin a look on toymods, or going to a workshop that has done the conversion, and findin the info.
There is a little bit more than the belt to worry about if your planning on turbocharging the engine, rods should be done regardless, as should the pistons, from what ive seen they arent too tough, and i'd also look to oil supply, but thats only the one or 2 ive worked on and I'm not too sure.
