there is a toyota belt that fits.
Cam belt from memory is off a Porsche 944 - I'm pretty sure there is a write up on Club 4ag from memory.
From memory the 7afe psitons, when used with a 4age head result in rather low compression.
As for turboing the 7age I feel that kind of misses the point - the only logical reason for going 7age I can see (and it's the reason I am looking at it) is to remain in the under two litre class for hill climbs, etc. Turboing would move you into the over 2 litre class for my local climbs, in which case you may as well step up to a 3sgte.
The same could be said for 7age vs 3sge I guess......

no modding engine mounts or bellhousing makes 7age>3sgte thats it.
I saw some conrods on trademe for about $500 i suppose it is necessary to change the conrods
I will find out tomorrow what timing belt we are using on our race car.
The main reason behind the 7A having a low rev limit is the fact that they have everything down low, There is no point on them being a high revving engine as standard as its not going to make anymore HP or torque.
especially because they were made to suit auto boxes
I made a thread about 7AGE into ke/ae's. Doesn't go into too much detail it's just how to basically install it. It isn't finished yet as I havent got the engine in.
Anyway, I plan on Arias forged pistons, some sort of forged con rod and maybe a 4agze crank, depending if it is the same.
i guess a 7afc or something could be a good upgrade for people not able to afford a 4age or something
1.8 block with 4afc head and stock carb set up.
I forgot to get the belt details today, I will try to remember tomorrow.

if you had a better flowing head/intake manifold they would make more torque/kw into the higher rev range
the reason they make most of their torque down low is because the intake manifold/head is designed for a everyday A-B car
this is the way i understand it ^^
