Hey guys why isnt there any dealer/company out there that manufacture 4a - w5# crossmembers directly for ae86's ? theres a big market in it and everyone goes for the conversion eventually, I am sure theres money to be made if its a direct bolt in and strong. Or am i wrong is there a company out there that make these ? what are some of your opinions aye

sadly, there isnt much of a market for 86's in aus, apart from us guys, and galf of us wont get to that point, or are to cheap (no offence to the cheapskates) I will be mass manufacturing, fuel systems, and the like soon enough. But even then it may not be worthwhile as the market is not big enough to take on a stance of being a specialist in the humble ae86.

I will be organising, rotory conversions, so i may look into it as money allows.

    Cheers
    Rhys

things are custom for a reason sometimes, not every speed racer can furiously modify their automobile from autobarn

yeah i understand i make most of my stuff fit for the ae86 also .. but seeing how theres such a large majority high powered ae86 and there shittyness of the t50 up against 150kw turbo motor ...so everyone goes to the w5# so got me thinking .. there reason i made this is i am having to make a xmember on the weekend and i would rather pay 100$ and bolt it in and be done with it. I will make a couple of them and post em pics up of how it bolts up etc.. and willing to sell for minimal price straight bolt in's

Maybe read a little more carefully next time champ haha

Most hachi owners are DIY'ers, and most have access in one way or another to a welder. For a commercial sponsor to make and sell a gearbox crossmember, they'd want $100+ for it

For most of us, that's able to be made from $5 of metal, $5 of wire and $5 of argon

So yeah .. i guess thats why .. we are pov

bah, i made mine for $9.99 inc GST

i don't care what it looks like (dodgy) but hey it works and one thing i can tell you is that 86 and 71 gbox xmemeber spacing is different.

So that half who are pov just got smaller.
