    Lightbulb

I'm looking at cutting/shortening my bumpers on my ke70 (s1/flat front) and i can't seem to find any write-ups..

Can someone please post some pictures and info on how they did it?

    Thanks,
    marvis.

    In for this also...

I've read a rear shorty bumper guide somewhere. Not sure if it was here or another forum but interested to see a write up on the front.

you can do it the way biggo suggests, and it will work...but it is a little dodgy.....

when i installed my T18 rear bar, i used the original ke70 metal bar, but since the t18 bar is alot smaller (simliar size to a cut down plastic one) i had to cut and modify the metal bar to sit alot closer to the body.

angle grinder and welder are your friends!

here are some pics of how i did it

Yeah not keen for zip ties.. I'm mainly wondering how people did the sides?

Them t18 ones a cool good job.. I was just going to drill holes in bracket and move it back.

    Somewhat. Thanks.

But wtf happens to the ends/ edges? Are they just left open or what? Any pics?

    use your imaginnation mate

or better yet, go to your wreckers, buy a bumper, and have a crack at it yourself.

then when you have done it, you can come back and tell us all how you did it :2thumbs:

looks to me like youll have to get creative with the edges, maybe get some end caps off an old car that came with metal bumpers and plastic ends.

thinking ke30/ke55, ive also seen some utes that came with bumpers like that...
