Hey people, I'm currently doing a 20v conversion to my ae71.. Car was originally 4ac auto.
Now the problem is the engine appears to be sitting to high in the engine bay for some reason... I'm using the 4ac auto engine mounts and the standard crossmember.... I realize that its proberly some thing stupid that I'm not seeing, but and help would be great. heres some pics..

With that engine, those mounts and crossmember it should be fine, the only problem might be that your putting the mounts on wrong?? :ermm:
Not sure how possible that is though. I'm pretty sure they only go one way.

I think we are going to need pics of the engine in car.

And you certainly went crazy with that white paint didn't you.

well comparing it to my mates (20v ae71) my engine was sitting a about 3 inches higher......my extractors wont fit.... which means gearbox wont line up as well i think.... weird

and the white paint looks a lot better than dirty old stock poo brown lol

I take it that you don't have a gearbox attached then? That might just be your issue, engine tilting too far forward or something because you're holding it up with an engine crane.
