i'd use 2 standard relays, switching either one will put positive to both ure pumps.
one relay turns on when u crank the car (just grab + start wire to switch this relay)
The other turns on when the ecu sees that the car has started, and outputs an earth (ive forgotten which ecu pin it is but i could check my smallport for u)
This way your pumps are only ever on when the engine is running, or when ure cranking, this is how the standard fuel pump relay on a FWD 4AGE works.
Ive done this on 3 4age convo's now and it works a treat!
