Yeah I'm sure tein is. But they would have an engineer parked at the factory permanently making sure the stuff was made to spec. Not just buying out of a generic catalogue and choosing the colour of the anodising.

Research people. Don't make sweeping statements unless you can back them up with hard evidence...

This took me exactly 3 minutes <_<

I'd bet most of the bottom models are made in china for sure. Most stuff is. My $3.5K camera is made in china. All the new Hondas sold in australia are made in Thailand. Same with most Toyotas now.

More than the above post, which is not even a genuine Tein site.

Anyway, if you'd read the link and associated and fairly detailed corporate history, the only mention of factories or plants are those that are all located within Japan.

To start my own rebuttle, they do list one of their activites as "Sales of imported automobile goods" and also one of their offices is in Taiwan, but I'd suggest that the "imported goods" are infact their own, that they import from Japan into the US etc and sell under their own brand. The Taiwan and Hong Kong offices are probably only presences to assist with sales in those regions, but I'm only guessing here.

Overall it doesn't matter shit anyway, as all their business units are certified ISO9001 (which requires strict quality control measures).

In japan the "Made in" tag may be more relaxed.

For example to be made in Australia it...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>When you gointo detail it gets even more complicated than that...

So japan it may be a smaller percentile of the goods to manufactured there,
to be claimed made in Japan,
