but I'm picking up a rack tomorrow night and it doesnt have a steering column
does it matter which rack goes to which column
ie: can an ae71 column bolt up to a ke70 rack or ke70 column bolt up to ae71 rack
or ae86/ke70/ae71
I'm pretty sure its all the same but if someone could clarify would be really helpful

They're all interchangeable, and will all fit each other as they have the same splines.
But the differences formt eh racks themselves..AE86 are the ones ya want. Dunno about eh differences between AE71 and KE70 if there is any.
no difference between ae71 and ke70 racks.... i use a ke70 rack in my ae71.
not a 100% sure, so somone correct if I'm wrong, but the only difference between keto racks and ae86 racks is that fact that they have one extra tooth, allowing slightly more lock then a keto one. all bushes/rebuild kits, rack ends etc are all the same.
i got sick extra lock spacers and sick tie rod ends to match. so not to fussed.
so will it all bolt up ?
