    hey i recived at cusco strut brace today its ment for 86. it is the non adjustable type. it is to go on my e7 i did a rough line up while still in the packageing but the bracde appears too short so my question is will this brace fit or do i need to swap to an adjustable one??

    why don't u just try and fit it?

    i use a jjr ae86 non adjustable in my e7 and it works fine

    towers are slightly further apart in a 70 than an 86, you will need an adjustable brace. i had the exact same problem with what sounds to be the exact same cusco brace

    is this the cusco brace that looks like all the cheapo knock off braces just lacks the slotted eyes in the brace mounts?

    I got a strut brace that was for an AE86 or Ke70. The holes were ovaled so that the main bar could move to fit ither strut tower. Apart from that the towers have the same bolt pattern.

    here are two pics.. the one i got is the top one in both pics.. pretty sure i need the bottom one.. reason i did not remove from packet in case i have to send it back. i think ive seen a cusco brace in a 70 before but I'm pretty sure this is different.. ??

    k for everyone else out there it fits. just had a call from dave at ajps. he said loosen the 2 bolts at each end and it will fit snug as a bug then do the bolts up again.. too easy. thanks everyone.

    IK havet the same one as popes. Never any trouble fitting.

    anyne else here fitted that type of cusco brace.. i can't seem to make it fit.. how did u do it..? cheers

    I've got a JIC one the same as that. Had to pull a bit on it to make it fit, but it got there.
