    Hey Brendan.
Sorry didn't reply to your message before but was going to leave it to my son to reply when he comes over but he hasent been over this week
so me being the mechanic (DAD) i could probably answer your questions and glad to do so.

Not a 100% sure but from memory the rod length from center to center was the same and we ran a shorter piston pin height. Wanted to use the
3sge Gen2 rod as it was a far superior strength rod.

Hey all. Engine is out at the moment trying to rectify oil blowby problem but have found a BIG issue with exhaust flow on the flowbench. Would appreciate some input to what 3sge NA pipes you think are best . Currently running 4 into 1 1 inch 5/8 tuned length i think (havent got them here at the moment)
Head flows great numbers on the bench when i use test pipe so i know the head is working ok just need best pipe setup combo

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (riojin @ Aug 6 2008, 07:47 PM) </div>Reminds me of Torana styling form the 90's.

Simmons, Drop tank and twin exhust. Friken Sweet :2thumbs:

    DROP TANK[attachment=30031:reddropsim.jpg]

    TWIN EXHUST[attachment=30030:FATSLRBUM1.jpg]

there are so many similarities between toranas and 86's its scary

LOL Josh, at your reaction to riojins post.
