Ok ive solved over fuelling. Now my cars revving up and down at idle has turned into stalling at idle. every time i clutch when coming to a stop the car dies on me. It seems to do it more often when the car is warm.
I am guessing its got to do with some Vacuum hose being loose but looking over the whole engine i can't find a single hose that doesnt look attached or is slightly coming off. Which vacuum hoses would be the ones causing this issue? or is there something else i should be looking at?
Some one has told me that the 4AGZE conversions have issues with the vacuum hoses for the power steering and most people just block it. But it needs the right amount of resistence. I dunno how true this is but he straight away told me all the problems due to this.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or am i just having the worst luck with this car.
next to your Trottle body, there is a cream looking device ( this is called your ISC valve). it should have a plug on it that should be pointing towards the front of the car... on both sides of the ISCV there are screws, if you losen those the ISCV pivots so you can adjust your idle speed so it doesnt drop (if you turn it clock wise it makes the idle go up)... then directly below the ISC valve (facing the strut tower) there are 2 vac hoses or ports that are part of the ISCV... you should block those of, or just let less air through those... and your idle should sit nicely
also, if your car still cuts out after you clutch in, you can take of the vac port on the brown VSV. just let it suck in air, have nothing connected to it [there will be 3 port on this thing, the side where ther is 2 ports take of the on that sucks in]... this device will be located on top of the supercharger... it should hold its revs fine... pm me if you need some pics
i did this to mine and it idles nicely 800 rpm it fluctuates from time to time but doesn't stall
