4agte upgrades

Hey guys i am after ways to modify various things on the motor without opening the bottom or massive headwork and relying on tune to sqeeze more power of the motor. Things like the best t/b to suit the 4age inlet manifold with minimal modification and best results, What size cooler piping you guys running inlets/outlets. Also at what stage does the 4agte motor struggle to make power from airflow problems.

Also anyone that has a standard setup 4agte running 180kw plus with standard inlet please speak up.

what is your current power?
what is your current ecu?
is the motor getting old?

with your current information all I'm gonna say is get a bigger T

Cams are a fairly good lift/duration as standard, throttle body isn't too bad, but both can still definitely be improved upon.

I used various turbo combinations, all with the same:
-Stock 'bigport' GZE motor
-Bigport manifold, TVIS, throttle body
-Steam pipe manifold
-440cc 7M injectors
-Microtech LTX8
-2" pipe from turbo to cooler
-2 1/2" pipe from cooler to throttle body

And the various turbo combos i used
-T28BB 16psi, 150rwkw (2.5" exhaust)
-T517Z 16psi, 190rwkw (3" exhaust)
-TD06 internal gate rear housing 18psi, 220-230rwkw? (3" exhaust)

Upgrading any throttle bodies are fairly straightforward, XF falcon seems to be very popular, and is a few cm bigger than the GE.

I'd say low to mid 200's a "stock" motor will start to 'run out of airflow', and headporting and cams would be a good upgrade.

Id agree with everything said above. You will need to push though atleast 15-20psi to get that on a stock gze with a decent sized turbo.
