yeah so, i have a set of each of these.
the cusco triangle shaped camber tops, and the round type.
whats the difference between the two? does it have something to do with castor?
round are the old ones triangle are the newer series
the round ones have the spherical bearing sandwiched between two plates that are held together by the 4 allen head bolts (same ones that lock the slide mechanism)
triangle ones have pressed bearings (or heat housing frozen bearing interference fit thing)
pretty confident its just that difference, one can only assume its more cost effective for cusco to maufacture them the new way.
