    Hey Guys,

This is a pic of my blacktop 20v sitting in my AE86. Note the front dizzy conversion. This means my blacktop leads are now too short. The SR20 ones (pictured) work fine, but I want to have the dust cover on and they sit proud of the rocker cover.

Anyone have any suggestions for me? I don't really wanna pay $200 for a set of top-gun custom ones. Cause that would be crazy.

    Cheers,

Funny this post came up, I was just resizing a set of leads for my dizzy conversion yesterday and was wondering what other people were doing. Guess we think the same Sam

yep I had to entend beyond my usual levels of tightness to buy brand new leads that where actually designed for a 20V, so buying something custom was out of the question for me and besides I have been resizing my leads for a long time now, I have moved my coilpacks 4 times afterall. I found the top-gun leads quite easy to resize using some straight ends, I took apart the original ends so I would have the maximum amount of lenth but the first cylender still could of been longer. obviously you want the 90 degree bends 73ta22, I say go to your local wreckers and chop some ends off, go for aftermaket leads as they usually have a removable boot instead of something moulded like stock

Can you buy top-gun leads singly?

not that I know of, but call them, chances are they would cost significantly more overall because its a one off order though
