Hey guys just wondering if anyones got a koyorad radiator "type Z" , i am wanting no if i need a specialist radiator cap or can i use the factory "normal" rad cap ??

use the normal, higher psi caps will put pressure on coolant seals

but it will also increase boiling point, good for hotter running motors like mine

so the cap is ok to use, i thought it needed it for sealing purposes.. if so ill use the stock one for now

I know the Ali Type-Z has a deeper inlet where the rad cap sits (about 16mm) but think the std cap should be ok.

OEM cap pressure is 0.9 so yeah a 1.2-1.3 cap is the way to go for 4AGE driven in anger
