    The contenders:

    My pipes:

    Vs

    P-craft

Hey guys as a few people would know I made some extractors a while back, that was before I knew much at all and I know they are way too short. I have been using these for maybe 2.5 years now. Now someone I know has some p-craft pipes that are also 4-2-1 that havent been fitted to the car yet.

So I propose a back to back test on my car, I am using a metal cat and the exact same model cat will be fitted for both tests which will be done on my car. I will call around and see if I can get some dyno time for a cheap price or else I will just do it with a stopwatch and seat of the pants.

This is a good test because first up both pipes have fairly good collectors although mine merge a fraction worse but overall it would pretty much come down to short vs long pipes assuming them use the same diameter pipes.

I may even do a test against a stock 16V cast flange also.

This test although done in far from labitory conditins should give a rough idea how much of a difference harmonic resonance makes in an exhaust system.

So anyone got any predictions on the results?

Good idea, would be good to use the trd copy extractors in your experiment as well to see how they compare.

your ones will probably be better on a stock big port

the n2 ones would be better one some 200hp thing

my prediction is (only off your specs, as i obviously don't know the specy ones) yours will be more torquey, i believe this is due to your secondary looking to be a smaller diameter than the flash ones, but not havin the slip joins is where it will get yours in power.... BUT, your wall thickness is probably double that of the others, so you will pick up air speed due to the higher temps you will create, hence it will create power through that.

But I don't know too much about extractmores, so I can't be sure.

hey Sam, nice extractors... im VERY interested to see TRD copy extractors included in the test, just for fun.

will you be testing these all on your 20v engine i assume ??
