after soem pics of peoples intake manifold/ plenum there running with quad throttles, or of any pics people have.
as i am making my own this week any help would be muchly apreciated.
i am thinking ill use some 4" pipe with a 2.5" inlet on the bottom of the pipe and have 4 2" 90 degree bends coming out of the 4" pipe and into the throttlebody's.
hopefullying it shal go aight, there fore, i can chirp 2nd with a big swing up.

i just read the '90 degree bend' thing, i dont think that would work .. but a smaller angle (20-45degree) might..

cheers dude, yeah i need a fair angle so it will clear the brake booster and cluth slave that all. ill try it with a 45 deg bend, hopefully that will work. and i think ill use 3" instead of 4".
and another thing man, its bolting onto the throttlebodies not the inlet ports, so 90 should even be alright, no diferent to a 90 deg bend in your cooler pipes.

try and incorporate velocity stacks in the plenum, from my experience, it makes a fairly decent difference
Creating plenums for quad throttle 4AGE's seems to be the new fad - they are all over the forums lately!
What advantages does using a plenum on quad throttles provide? I would have thought if anything it would just restrict the amount of air available to the throttles? I understand boosted engines using plenums but dont get it on n/a's. I'm no expert which is why I'm asking, can someone enlighten me? Unless these are all boosted engines using quads?

yea ive got trumpets for n/a setup but im boosted, hence why im making a plenum
i probs wont have trumpets in it but ill make somehting to do the same effect .
??? or is it a secret
There was a pretty neat looking one on ebay a couple of days ago, bolts on to silvertop quads, had velocity stacks and stuff aswell.
The price turned me off at $575 though
