Hi,
can 264 cams with 8.1mm lift be run on a stock ECU (16V 4AG) just to move the car from mechanic to tuner?
engine has quads also.
I know if it could run, its going to be pretty rough, but yeah just curious.
thanks.

you'll prolly need at the very least a piggy back ecu and adjustable cam gears othrwise it will run but economy will be out the window and will be rough as guts
thats what i've been able to piece together as im building a similar spec engine wise and yeah
PS what cams you using and where from? and dd you have to change the buckets?
thanks
has adjustable cam gears
stock ECU and a SAFC II has proved to work. although aftermarket ECU is advisable to get the best from the setup./
with stock ecu should be good up to about 3000rpm then stupidly rich.

you cant tune a stock ecu
