has anyone kept air con in their sprinter using the stock aus spec evaporator and lines to dash with a 20v motor?

my car has all the dash business but wondering what sort of air con compressor system to run?

also looking for the parts to make it happen

well if your lucky your original lines will fit right onto the stock 20v compressor, I even have one I am throwing out that may still work

another option is theres a chance your original 4ac one will fit on the 20v bracket and then you just swap the pulleys, but again its an unknown

well I thought it would work if the pulleys where swapped hence converting the 4ac compressor to a multirib drive. Do you have the appropriate brack to mount the compressor right now?

I am happy to post and $20 should make it happen, but lets talk about that later

I was planning on running a stock AE92 aircon compressor on its original bracket on my small port 4AGE. After fitting it up though it was sitting right on the swaybar. I think you'll find a similar story using a stock 20v bracket.

What I did to solve that problem was to buy a JDM AE86 compressor and bracket. I see no reason as to why you couldn't do the same and I think you'll find you're 20v has a 5 rib belt like every other 4AGE. You'll need to use a JDM AE86 crank pulley though to run the JDM aircon compressor.
