Default 7AGE 20V Spark Plug Recommendations

    Sup,

I have had some denso iridiums in my car since my car came from japan. They're starting to look fairly average, so i'd like to replace them.

FSM says the recommended plug is a BKR6ep11

Could i benefit from a cooler/hotter plug? Should i go iridium/platinum, or just coppers?

I've never given half a shit about plugs before, so i welcome any suggestions. Thanks.

Well IMO its a tough one. So far I've cooked NGK BKR5EYA, NGK BKR6EP-8 Platinum and Bosch Platinum...

it is not worth paying for platinum. just change copper regularly. i have read a few articles on comparisons and the copper actually give stronger spark but just dont last as long. but in a 4age it takes about 3 seconds to change plugs unlike wrx/evo's where it is a shit job.

yeah the only advantage of iridium is longer life.

just change plugs everytime you do an oil change.

heat range is dependent on the engines usage run a colder plug if its getting thrashed on the track and a hotter plug if its more street driven
    the dyno pull to 300rwkw

BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less

I haven't really looked into this but my mate was advised to run copper plugs on his drift car with a rb26 in it. His tuner says copper gives a better spark and also recommended to change the plugs every 5000km's
