FS: 1972 Datsun 240Z 95% Completed
Hey Guys,
Looking at Selling my 1972 240z. Have a lot going on at the moment as some as you know and am struggling to find time to finish it. This was ment to be my daily so I havent had a car in a few months. The car has had all of the hard work done and the money has already been spent on the good stuff the only real things left to finish are the body and pick your color and a tuneup. No expense has been spared and only using quality parts and finishes. Every bolt that I have come across i have replaced with the equivalent high tensile cad plated bolt/nut. The car currently has a set of -72 15x8 Wheels, these are an optional extra and have 95% tread, you will also need flares for these.

The Engine Bay/Motor/Drivetrain-
Engine Bay has been shaved of all extra brackets/holes
L28 (compression test was the same for each cylinder)
240Z 71A "Close Ratio" Gearbox with new Slave, Clutch fork, Thrust bearing and carrier and spigot bearing
3.9 R180 Open Diff

Custom Wrinkle red valve cover
New Exedy HD Clutch and Machined Flywheel
240Z Carbs Bead Blasted with SM Needles
New Thermo fan with temp sensor
New 60AMP alternator
New Coil
New Spark Plugs
New Custom Leads and brackets
New motor mounts
Tripple Core Radiator
New Heater Hoses and brass inlets/outlets
All new hoses and pipes
New HQ Wagon fuel tank has been installed has been plumbed up (this was to allow the tank to be higher up to run a diffuser)
Electrical-
H4 Upgraded headlight with dual relays
Entire Engine bay loom has been restored and cleaned up.
New Heavy Gauge wire to the starter motor and to the rear of the car
Brakes/Suspension-
Stock 240Z Brakes on the front (I do have a set of r32 4POTS at an extra cost)
280ZX Rear Brakes (New rotors, New Pads, New Braided Lines, Custom Billet Bracket from ROBCO Engineering)
Booster was removed and refurbished
Koni Yellow Shocks in the front
Koni Red Shocks in the back
Has been lowered as well
70% of bushes have been replaced also with urethane items
Interior-
Sound deadening removed then POR-15
New Grommets in floor
New Rubber foil back insulation was put down
New Pedal Rubbers
Dash is 100% and has been re skinned
All gauges are there
Centre console has been refurbished
New Carpet kit
Stock Seats or New bucket seats for extra
New Gear Knob
New Chrome Air Vents
Body-
The body had minimal rust when i purchased it and in reasonable condition. The body will need a once over by your body guy then choose your color. I was going to paint the car Millenium Jade (JW0) and already have the paint and clear etc if you want this we can work something out.
Urethane Front bar with Brake Ducts
Minor Rust cut out and plated up
Hatch Lock has been welded up as i was going to use a solenoid
Flush rear end with beaver panel raised to allow room for diffuser
Body has been rubbed back and can prime if wanted buy buyer
