Hi guys,
Just thought I'd pipe up here. I'm the guy who started those daily deals and I really am aiming to offer the absolute best deal that I can. Chris, I understand how you feel about the D2 products but in all honesty the price I quoted is what the RRP is. It's just that everywhere you see them they're offered at a discount. Doesn't do much good for the name (and the fact that they have had some quality control issues early on which has also done damage). Also they dont actually make a street or race version for the AE86, just the drift version which is based on their gravel/tarmac/rally damper which is a different kettle of fish to the standard stuff (and definitely not the US$550 that the cheapest stuff costs). Either way, this is bottom end of the market stuff and the price reflects it.
Let me know what you'd really like to see up there and I'll see what I can work out. It's about talking to al the manufacturers and getting them to sell it off as cheap as possible. I keep telling them no one wants a 5% discount... it has to be 40 - 50%. Any feedback too is always good. I'm open to criticism, I'll take it and build it better.
Peter
