Default Looking for inspiration, lost a few things on the cluster

I cant seem to track down why i lost these:

    Tacho
    oil pressure
    water temp
    fuel
    park brake light

Checked all wires, nothing appears loose.

About the only thing i found was 1 12v wire and 2 earths, i did manage to figure out which wire was for the high beam light, but my mind is fried atm from new work roster doing shift work, brain has not caught up yet.

Been floating the net getting diagrams etc and too say the least im lost, half the colours on these diagrams don't match too what i have and im not all that clued up on checking things like ohms etc, volts is easy enough thou.

Im guessing a loose or missing earth but cant understand why??

Had this a little while ago and it started working all by itself, but now doesn't work at all.

    Any ideas or thoughts appreciated.

    Also fuses look fine.

Do you have 12v on the black/orange wire at the cluster when the key is on?

All those you've lost have the power supplied to them by the main cluster power in.

If your illumination works, then I'd say it's not an earth issue but I'd have to check wiring diagrams to be sure.

Not sure on the wire you speak of, ill check that, but i know blinkers, charging, door, high beam and illumination and dimmer are the only ones working.

Oh, just checked the wiring diag. The gauge power is Red/blue.

and yeah, it's most likely that wire. The things you mention all have power supplied by external sources.

Ok so no power at the red/blue wire you speak off, i did find 1 fuse blown a 7.5amp cluster fuse i believe but it didnt fix anything with a new fuse.

Might make my own diagram of what i have then try to figure out what goes to what.

Do you have 12v on the red/blue wire after replacing the fuse?

Wow finally found it, had an attempt to steal the car a while ago and couldn't see what damage the would be thieves did till i striped a tonne of tape off and found their work, couple wires touched up under he dash and popped a fuse.

Spastic 10amp fuse where a 15amp should of been and it was only just blown hence i didn't see it before. Wasn't like your normal wedge fuse blow, was only just not touching, possible why it use to come and go.

Anyways thanks to all those that pm'd and posted. Time to give her a flogging again.
