Spring rates?

Typical noob question, i have searched and found nothing.

Does anyone know what the sandard spring rates in a KE70-AE86 as i am looking to upgrade springs, but as it is for dirt racing use i think 8kg fronts and 4kg rears will be too stiff.

Any help and advice appreciated!

I run 5 kg coilovers at the front and 3kg springs at the back. Its perfect for me cos I drive some gravel and very bumpy mountain roads. Some may call it soft but it handles incredibly!!
Its all in the shocks you run though!!

Thanks I think ill run something very similar, atm i have new munroe gt gas shocks, nothing special. Im converting to coilover and wanted to know

I know absolutely nothing about dirt racing though so i would definitely get advice from someone who knows about it. What I can say is you 100 million percent want to be same or softer as mine lol

use the stock springs, and get some better shocks (ie GOOOD shocks, bilsteins)

buy the bilsteins from a place that does rally cars and get them to do the valving for what you want.

then see how it is. The last thing you want is stiff springs on dirt.

yeah stock rear springs is the way to go for sure

fronts depends on if you are running the roll bar or not

i run bilsteins on dirt and tarmac FWIW, very happy

I was thinking leaving the rears standard and run 5kgs on the front without the swaybar
