    just bought a new car this year and it was the mrs choice. so i should be due to update my car in 2-3 years, by then the second series might be out and worth a look. really not a fan of buying the first series of a new car
    stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?

    Classic, guess you voted for option 2 then

    While I know I'll get one new, as I said in post 1 and I know it'll have a crappy electronic, "Drive-by-wire" throttle that WILL, RUIN THE EXPERIENCE. I can live in hope that it has a proper cable. Or simply replace it straight away.

    If it's a cent over $35k (which it will be, i can't see it making the ludicrously cheap prices people are claiming), i'll be upgrading to a used lotus elise before the 'FT86'

    almost definately will never buy one, new or 2nd hand. depsite Moto P's (club4ag webmasters) high praise. it has no real relevance to me. and no matter what i cannot get past the boxxer. theyre ugly and they sound funny. and dont belong in an FR car IMO.

    when i bought my first 86 (quite a while before lot of people here) it was already pretty old.

    for me a sports car should be either something you can mess with. or so awesome you dont need to. the FT is not really either.
