nah you just have a leak.
none of this double clamp crap. you are talking about fuel here, do it properly.
take it all off, get any bare metal pipes flared if they arent, use proper hose clamps, the one with the bolt, not the screw.

available from a proper hydraulics shop, dont go to supercheap auto.
use the CORRECT size fuel hose, with the CORRECT size clamp, those clamps come in MANY MANY sizes, make sure it fits perfectly.
if you have to tighten it more than about 5 turns, its too big.
that walbro sounds way to big anyway, but thats another arguement.
