Yes, RA40 axles fit (assuming it's a drum braked diff with the normal, not huge, wheel bearings). I can no longer remember if you have to cut 10mm off the end of each axle, but 30 seconds with a tape measure will tell you.

And the whole diff will bolt up... to an RA40. But I guess you're wanting to put it in an AE86, in which case it can be made to fit, but isn't particularly easy (have a search about it).

Thank you very much, I think I read that 10mm has to be cut off the ra60's.... Would you also happen to know what gear ratio is in the zenki t series? I wanns know if it'd be worth putting in the ra40 diff as I only wanted to do it for the 4.1's lol

RA40 diff is not a bolt in, some people will tell you they have done it, but its not a good idea. One pair of mounts is correct, the other isnt, and the spring seats are mislocated, I've measured it all up before.

You can pull the whole centre pumpkin thing out of the RA40 diff and put it in the zenki T series diff (which I assume you currently have in your car). And you then have whatever ratio RA40s run with. I think it's 4.1 for manuals at least, but you can look it up on Google or just count teeth/look for numbers stamped on the crown and pinion once you've got the centre out.

RA60 axles definitely have to be trimmed 10mm, but I can't remember whether it is also true for RA40s. Easy to check though once you have the bits.
