    Default What to do with a 3TG Hybrid + T50

    I have one of these lying around doing nothing. Came out of my T18.



    3tg hybrid
    260 2tg head
    Double valve springs
    Reground cams
    Ported head
    Reseated & reground valves
    New valve stem seals
    Shaved head
    New gaskets
    3tc block crank & rods
    Fly-cut 60 thou oversize 3tc pistons
    Fully balanced bottom end
    Twin 18rg solex carbs
    4 into 1 extractors
    2.5 inch straight through pipe
    Electronic crane cams ignition
    Lightened flywheel
    Xtreme heavy duty clutch
    T50 gearbox
    Locked series 2 t-series diff

    I want an easy bolt in job with not too many mods (ie custom mounts/crossmember etc)

    Ideally wanted to put it all into a TE71 Liftback but they're rare as shit over here.

    I think it would be easiest to bolt it into something that comes with a 3TC from factory. What cars are they apart from the T18?

    Any idea/suggestions??

    Old corolla. Pretty sure you could find an appropriate crossmember somewhere.

    I'm thinking a TA22 would be easiest. I want it to be a cheap transplant. (If that really even exists.) That's why I was looking for shells that are suited for a 3TC.

    How much are you offering?

    It flew once it was warmed up.

    How much do you think it's worth?

    See, I found a complete T18 the other day for $800. I could have a complete drift car with spare panels and a motor, diff, gearbox if I buy it and put together something from all of my parts.
    Got AE86 coilovers too.

    Stuff putting this thing into anything that isn't a liftback or coupe. A KE20 or RA22 would be cool, but way too hard to find a good shell.

    I think I'll buy that other T18 and transfer everything across, unless anyone wants to make an offer for the motor?

    TA would be good, and if you wreck it you can just take the Xmember onto next shell, TA40`s has the T312 axle that you can put a Zenki AE86 LSD in if you shorten the axles by 6mm.
