This is an ex Bob Holden GroupA engine. Used at Bathurst etc., so comes with lots of history.

I hope its not a 3 rib block...
It may well be but that just makes it more original and for the high revving na types they will possibly prefer a crank with smaller journals for less friction.
True. But will someone pay that much for a museum piece? Would be good to have a Group A head too...
1500 is cheap for a brand new bottom end, well rebuilt i take it, considering you pay 600ish for rods, 600 ish for pistons then alll the machine work etc thats gone into it
the history is just a bonus![]()
No, the history makes you cry when you punch a rod through the block...
fixed for he who has had the most broken 4ages in recent history

if its a genuine group a 4a it would have a forged crank as well and a trd block so there shouldn't be numbers on it and the main caps shouldn't of needed the tang cut out if it had genuine trd full groove main bearings
but for that price its a dead set steal
the dyno pull to 300rwkw
BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less
Just wondering is this still available 15/01/2012 if so please call 0403 33 44 88
