I needed a way of holding my battery box down better than a few bots through the plastic bottom, I designed this at work with a basic sketch and my work mate Alan took it home with measurements and made it for me! I got it the next day!! Cheers al

Headers were supposed to go on yesterday but my car wouldn't go on the exhaust shops 2 post hoist, was too low etc. And a p.o.s ford escape was on the 4 post. So it should be done on Monday. Fingers crossed.

Headers on, gone multicoloured allready done 4kms on them.
Feel like they give more torque than my old shitty ones, got a new muffler put in too so it's much more quiet! Really stoked.

Yeah stainless noise is great, heaps better than mild, i find that it gives the note a raspy edge!

Tonight I removed my upper adjustable trailing arms and replaced them with the factory bushed ones, mainly due to huge road noise being transferred the rose joints to the body at high speeds / rough roads. I'm thinking I might get bushed ends for both top and bottom adjustable arms for the chassis side and leave the rose joints on the diff side.

Also wanting a change in the look of my car, so thinking of options for wheel colours, thinking of keeping the centres dark grey and painting the lips black, either satin or gloss.

I like the look of these equips but in black not bronze lips.

Like the look of mad mikes black dish with grey centres

I'd sand the very outer lips back to alloy to outline the rim I think..

    Thoughts would be appreciated!!

    P.s I know they're only shitty sportmax's but I don't feel like robbing a bank for some SSR mk3s.

Did some more thinking and was a quite day at work so I had some Black electrical tape to see how black dish would be....
I think it looks fucking cool, sick of the same looking wheels for the last 2 years. And everyone has shiny/chrome dish now days.
Anyway here's a few pics of how it could look. Black dish dark silver spokes and the very outer lip sanded back to alloy.
I think it looks pretty good makes them look better and a bit more original that your run of the mill sportmaxx fake wheels.

Went to my mate nathans place after work, he needed to borrow my wheels as his work equip 03s had too much offset( -20 8j) the springs he had. Did a swap so he could drive his but with the works and my spacers (20mm) mine couldn't turn without rubbing majorly on my side skirts on lock. And with them on the rear they sat out about 40mm lol!! I'm soo jealous of those wheels sexy as!
Here's some picks nathans Levin has a 4agte. It had a td06 but was too laggy so is getting something smaller, can't remember what though.

Having trouble uploading pics will do tomorrow
