You can see these being fitted to Keiichi's TRD AE86 in one of the Hot Version AE86 club dvds.
Quality piece of kit.
They are going to be around $200 - $220 ish + $15 express post
How long would it take to get a set for a 20v?
none in stock atm.. havent had much interest in them... would atleast be a 6 week wait maybe more
ok fair enough what kind of power gain are you suppose to get out of these ?
here is some info for your reading
they claim 5 - 10hp over the RPM range
As I was reading thru that... I was dubious, but it almost had me.
Until I saw this:
Now... let's say there is a 'gain' for using this on a standard dissy / coilpack setup.
But removing your coil-on-plugs... which have a direction connection to your spark plugs...
and adding half a metre of resistance is taking a step back 20 years!
If this was such a good idea, you'd see it on Zondas, Astons, Ferarris... but you don't.
i do agree with you there stain... i think the above setup is a stupid idea... but look, the only real way we are going to know if these actually make a difference as claimed is to do some power runs on a dyno, one with stock leads and one with nology leads... its really the only way.
BTW... that coil pack bracket looks like its home made with a nology sticker.... its warped, scratched and the bends are not even symetrical.. i think a monkey build this setup.. but hay i maybe wrong
