I have found the threads on modifying the circuit card to get the stock tacho working with an aftermarket ecu. But what I want to know is if this mod can be done for the digital dash too? Has anyone done it? Does it require different value resistors? Cheers guys.

Not what I'm after, cheers anyway. I want to use the stock digital cluster with my microleb lt10s and bt 20v

Doesnt the stock tacho get its signal form the coil/s, hence it wouldnt matter what ecu your using.
I think OP's talking about the ae86tachmod.pdf or whatever it was called and you're talking about the chookhouse chooning(hah, anyone even remember this?)/haltech picture with the 15v zener and 2 reg IN4001 diodes. In which case, yeah, the diode way works to get the tach working on a digi dash.
I took a brief look at a digi dash internals/circuit board, completely different and way more complicated (as to be expected). That PDF would be useless for figuring out how to modify the digi dash.

Im sure you could play around with it and make it work, as long as you are willing to engage in some trial and error and risk breaking the unit altogether.
I took a punt a while back and adapted the ae86 tacho mod for the ae71. Works awesome.
Its probably a similar process non the less.
I dont suppose assasin would mind taking a photo of the circuit board to compare?
Hahha, i havnt seen that diagram from Hen for years....
Cheers guys. I'll dick around with it and see what I can work out
