I dummy fitted the cradle then checked arm angles and they were pretty good before welding in the mounting points.etc.

Assembled a spare block and head on the weekend so I could mock up some mounts and position rad and cooler. Also to check the sump I modded would still fit, ended up tweaking the engine mount brackets and Im alot happier with where the motor and gearbox is sitting now.

Cut the bottom of the guards and used a guard roller to push the front guards out over the wheels, alot....door gap is all screwed up but I dont care about that, the result I was after was achieved...

Sprayed the engine bay and made new front brake lines on the weekend....

Also picked up some much needed parts for the rear end and got it assembled.

    .

and started doing rear guards to try and cover the wheels......

Plan to get this finished over the next 3 week period and ready for the motor.....which at this stage looks like itl be a while.....so might end up with a wrecker motor in it to start off with...

Have spent a few days working on the corolla while on holidays.....got it completely painted which was a massive relief. Also picked up a pair of reclinable recaros for it, got one fitted at this stage so I could setup hydro handbrake. Made up some brake and clutch hardlines, and have spent the rest of the time assembling the car after paint.
